Yep a bunch of car chargers were vandalized for the copper and other metals in them. I guess they better reconfigure how they work. It’s estimated that just Commiefornia will have to grow the electric grid all most 15 times it is now just for cars. that doesn’t take into account for heavy trucks, and other applications.
I will be dead, thankfully! before all this crap comes to fruition

 

You don't get the context clue of "penny pinching" and the fact most are paid cents per mile to get the definition of the word change being implied?

Drivers are literally chasing change because they are paid by the mile.

Change is a word used to describe coins less than a dollar.

Coins are also called cents.

Cents per mile is a standard rate of pay
