I bought my truck, in my opinion honestly its a beater. But its a first truck for me. My credit isn't the best and it's what I could afford. Has some issues, but it runs and makes me money. I paid 33k for it, but pre-covid, surely would have only been maybe a 20k truck. I think they will go back down eventually. Some of these places on like facebook are I guess buying a truck, putting a visor or some other chrome accessory onto it and then trying to jack up the price a few thousand bucks. Saying "new not used". Yet, some of them aren't new truck dealers? I am sorry, if the truck was titled to them for them to sell it, it's used in my book.
LilRedRidingHood Thanks this. -
Totally. Bought a 2017 Freightliner last year with 500k miles for $60k. Now the same truck is like $100k

these trucks are automatic. Good manual trucks are still expensive

In the next 2 years we're gonna see a Lotta companies fold.Things are gonna get very bad and trucks are going to get very cheap.

I think the truck with 500k miles will have $60-65k price tag soon and the ones with 280-350k miles around $85-90k. I don't think prices will go more down...
Plus winter season is here and these new drivers* will destroy many of them...Accidental Trucker Thanks this.
