3406e and OR6051 turbo??

    I have a 1998 Pete 379 with a cat 550 hp 6ts engine. I have an OR6051 turbo which is a non-wategted turbo. cn I use it on te 6ts 550 with a wastegted turbo?

    and if so, what can I expect to see. currrently 29 lbs boost with 900 temp readings is all I can get. any help would be much appreciated.

    Someone will come on here soon and will know for sure.
    from what i can gather the or-6051 is the same turbo as the 198123, ones new and ones a reman. As far as it workin, im sure it will be alot slower to spool then your wastgater but will flow more and run alot cooler on the pyro. Personaly if you do alot of town driving stick with the stock turbo, if your mostly hwy the or-6051 would be livable with good mpg.
