Law Enforcement Starting To Feel The Chip Shortage Pain As Ford Is Canceling Police Orders

During hurricane Harvey, the city of Houston instead of parking all the city vehicles in the high-rise parking garages to keep them from being flooded. They park the cars in the basement at City Hall… So approximately $8 million worth of taxpayer owned vehicles were destroyed… SMH

 

No doubt..lol

 

Parking garages in Houston are typically full during the day. And they are most certainly not free.

Houston floods weirdly. One part of the city will flood during one storm and be completely dry while another part floods during the next storm. I always suspected the Corps of Engineers of playing eeny-meeny-miney-moe. Where will we send the water this time?

 

Not during harvey they weren’t…everyone was evacuated

 

I was there for Alicia and Rita, and every hurricane scare in between.

 

It was quite a bit more than that. During Rita the water was over three feet deep in the street in front of my house. The wind blew away my back yard fence and took out the power lines all over the neighborhood. It was over three weeks before we had power again. I was living in Cypress at the time. Lots of trees and overhead power lines.

During Alicia I was in an apartment. We lost power and water, but only for a day. One of those whirly roof vents blew off of someone's roof and dented my car.
