But yeah the boards ain't looking great atm. Just a friendly reminder you guys chose to run the spot market, nobody forced you to so quit ####ing #####ing over a decision you made.
On days my steady's don't move I look at the board and it's depressing. Good loads are still there but you can't take your eye off the board.
Closing up shop or thinking about it? 2.0 Heavy hitters welcome.

Think about dropping your authority and finding a good company to lease to? Some members here are doing better than spot guys all said and done.
Edit. The place my dad was leased to for almost 2 decades, my uncle went over there about 10yrs ago with his own authority (just gets a bigger cut than lease guys). Pulls their wagon, loaded one way home daily. Tolls paid and fsc, he has no plans on leaving and said he wish he listened to my dad sooner instead of almost losing everything with what he was doing beforeLast edited: Nov 27, 2022

Re-read this and want to clarify that no closing of shop has happened, by local-ish I meant loads that I could do a quick turn around on. Winter time is off time. Got my fill of open deck work in crap weather as a company guy.dwells40 Thanks this.
