Thanks for the reply. I'm hesitant to leave my current job of more than 10 years to maybe make a little less money for a few years, but I don't want to miss the opportunity to make more in the long run.

 

the quality of life here is worth it, I left a job of 9 years. Where in trucking are you going to work an 8 hour day and go home, you can actually make plans after work or you won’t be too neat because you worked 12+ 5 days a week.

 

Have a relative who retired with full pension and health package in her 50s around 2008 pulling 53' USPS trailers SE.

She did half the time in the local post office, though...
