Waiting on New Trucks thread.

This is huge in our industry.

People say they make so much money yet don’t even pay themselves.

Im HAPPY when I pay tax, means I had an awesome year!!

My partner and I also take a 100k / each salary per year.

And we end the year with decent net profits.

 

Nice to see paccar just transferred that classic fix to the new trucks... I had to do that once when my odometer went out in my Pete. Seems to be a common fix on paccar trucks... now I'm just curious if they have finally figured out after all these years and countless technology, to build a truck where the hood doesn't squeak?

 

I just don't get why everything has to be a computer ? What's wrong with regular mirrors ? They have worked for hundreds of years without fail. Unless you break it.

 

It may be 8 cents a mile . Until something major happens. Then that 2900 on 1000 miles will be a waste of time.

 

That is the great thing about business. The possibilities to build whatever life you want - can be done...

 

“I can run cheaper than you, but I’m not running cheap” has the same energy as “my buddy’s car would smoke yours”.

Somehow I’m way less stressed about my truck payment than I was when I was wondering how much my next major repair was going to cost me.

 

Joe, there are winners and losers in every market. One thing trucking has taught that it seems yet to teach you is “never say never”. Just because it is mathematically impossible for you or I to be banging any of the Victoria’s Secret models does not mean someone out there isn’t.

 

Therefore, it is important to know where someone's place in line is, instead of telling the World empty phrases with nothing to show for it. Because, you see, what I said was beyond your comprehension, I look at it form a different angle, if someone like me does not get to bang Victoria secret models, there's no way that you could do it either.
Although, I don't know about you. You got that truck with chrome and the may like it better from my Volvo of White color.

On better news, the new truck will be built next Monday.
