It was point blank and he hit me in the arm pit and the toe. And it was very well lit and I had nowhere to run but straight back. I was caught behind a row of trailers. As soon as I could make a turn he stopped hitting me.

LOL 7 yards? Wow. If you couldn't hit the target with your gun, you could piss on it. Again, that target wasn't running, or shooting back. It was perfectly still. I had to shoot two mags at 15 yards inside the 10 ring to get my concealed carry permit 20 years ago. I did that with a tiny 380 with a 2 inch barrel.

Now, do that at 100 yards and I'd be impressed.

His point wasnt that you may be able to shoot straight. On a gun range. In perfect conditions. At your own pace.

His point is, how is your accuracy when someone that may be as good or BETTER than you is at the OTHER end of the range shooting back?

Having been on the receiving end of hostile bullets I can say for certain it affects MY accuracy...

and in June of 2021, i had to shoot 30 rounds at a target 25 yards (75 feet away) for a score of at least 195, and a perfect 300, to get my ccw......(my actual score was 252) and your point was...?????

i can do this debating/comparing all day, being retired i got the time.

in the case of this truck stop shooting, the shooters didn't seem to be any more accurate than each other, with so many rounds spent.

Shooting at a target is not the same as shooting at a person. A person that is shooting back. If you cant understand that, then there is little point in "discussing" it further. Until you have been in that position, you will NEVER get it. And I understand that you think you are dirty Harry. I get it. But in reality you are clueless until you have been there.

    Have a nice day.

(You said you have seen cops at the range. Ask them if their aim is a little off when they have someone shooting back and see what THEY say. K?)
