New trailer… what do I need?

    I run off the boards & don't tarp but maybe couple few times a year when the money is just right. I drag a step though..

    4 footers will get ya by for the most part..

    That’s good to hear. I want to put a conestoga kit on it but I’m not sure if it’s worth the extra money.

    Conestogas are great for certain types of loads; not all loads. You really need to figure out what market you want to operate in.

    Spending all this equipment money for a part-time deal seems a waste of YOUR money.

    Appreciate the feedback. The thing is I need a trailer for my off season. Power only, reefer and dry van are just not my thing.

    Flatbed, step-deck, Oversize-overweight are all different ball parks. Even basic flatbed sticks and bricks can be dangerous to the driver and the public if not safely and properly secured.
