The idle decals are just EPA certification that the engine meet the current requirements. It has nothing to do with the ability to idle the truck.

I have noticed new trucks are not coming in with the labels. Label making factory must have Covid.

Your truck meets the same EPA standards as every other new truck produced in NA.

I've seen drivers getting tickets in different northeast truck stops for idling.

You have to pay for the sticker on the truck order. Might be some companies do not want to pay for it and this is the reason you may not have it.

Amazing how no one READS the sticker....!!

The sticker clearly shows it's a CALIFORNIA clean idle.... it is required in CALIFORNIA

    Only required for California...

Gliders don't have and can not get then but are 100% DOT legal in the lower 47

Must not travel in the northeast very much....
In PA one time, while I didn't get a ticket, there was an officer going around telling everyone to shut off the trucks ore he would give out tickets.

I run 90% PA and idle my dirty FLD. I haven’t heard of anyone being hassled for years and years. Only after those rules first came out.

The OP doesn’t have a glider. And the stickers number is tied to the engine. Its CARB so thats why California is on the sticker. If other states adopt CARB regulations, they don’t get their own sticker. but they will look for the Cali one.

Regardless, it’s just my opinion that having the sticker could prevent an issue with an A-hole DOT. I could care less as I run dirty and I will idle as needed regardless of rules. Run at night in PA, NY and OH and DOT and weigh stations aren’t even a thought.

If the factory forgot to install the Espar, look under the hood. Maybe they forgot to install the engine, so you don't get a sticker.:D
