Is Great Western the same as Great West?

Great West is a good company from my experience with them.

I went ahead and signed up with them and will see how it works out. It was Great West Casualty Company not western for some reason I had that in my head and that is a different company. Same one that offers the towing and what not stuff as a add on and diminishing deductible.

Yeah, I don’t see ever changing from them. A lot of insurance companies tell you what all they won’t insure and Great West you tell them what you need and they give you a price. That’s especially valuable if you’re getting into any sort of niche type hauling that’s outside the realm of everyday stuff.

Have a group policy for the O/O's that want it through them. Towing, glass, NTL, ect but their comprehensive is more than double mine. Their mileage policy was a lot higher, pay a high estimated miles and still want a down payment, no LOC

bzinger, Rideandrepair and Siinman Thank this.

I have Great West. I'm satisfied with coverage and agents help when needed. The agent gets most of the COI for me. It's possible for me to do them online. But it's easier, for me, to just forward an email and let him handle the request.
Premium seems to be competitive. I do like the vanishing deductible and the $5,000 tow to my location of choice. Also the break down reimbursement for lodging and meals while my truck got repaired.
My policy doesn't cover glass. I found that out couple months ago when an owl took out both Left and RIght pieces. It was only a $350 repair so not bad for me.

I just renewed my premium is $8g I pay 2 months down and monthly premium. I do have the option to just pay monthly with no down. I like having the 2 months at end of year not needing to pay.

    Rideandrepair and Siinman Thank this.

I just paid for the full year. Seems that they wanted a down payment and monthly payments but no discount for paying in full other than fees and I think they wanted some kind of down payment to hold onto. Was just a little bit cheaper then progressive but had better stuff with that. Will see how they work out. Thanks for all the info.
