yep,the less miles you drive the more manual work you will do,if you do that job,get a real construction job and make dollars not cents. you really are learning how to work harder than they are paying you. I would not work a local job for less than 10.50 an hour and i live in maine.

$695/wk is a good wage on one condition. They are training you! This meens you are hired without a CDL and they provide the training and instuction needed to get your credentials, and enouf experience to move up to a better deal. I have heard stories about guy shelling out $5-15,000 to a CDL mill only to then have to find a job to repay the student loan. something to think about

It's nice this is sort of a dedicated run, but it sounds like it's more trouble than it's worth. You'll learn soon after starting that my old ethic was a pretty good one. "I don't touch da freight. Period." was a good way to go for me. I think I unloaded maybe 10 loads in my entire "career" (most were early on when I was naive). My back still feels fine because of my stance on unloading.

What are you thinking? are you really needing a job and are you talking 695 gross or net? it says your 41 so your not a young man anymore, are you fit? how big is the trailer? 500 miles in a week sounds like your bumping alot of dock plates or back doors. Don't be a job hopper but if your needing the money and this is the only thing. you gota do what ya gota do. try to get a couple more offers and pick the best one that fits your needs..............Goodluck

Yeah, but, Dude, sometimes we get bored and need to stir things up on cyberworld. Or you could watch re-runs of "I Love Loosey"!

Actually I prefer reruns of MASH myself. But to each his own I guess.
