Old US63... West Plains to "Willer" to Cabool, turn left and go to Springfield. Hauled a lot of Jersey milking cows out of there. 63 from Lake David on to Springfield was a good training ground/road for young drivers. And coming back... them grain haulers; grain trailer, filled to the brim, low slung load, knew the road like the neighbors wife body... Would play hell with a young cattle hauler's nerves.....

Check the boxes real good before you bring 'em inside. ####roaches can hide in the corrugations of the cardboard.

No pics, but it was a Yale walkie, being sold "as is", after sitting in the storage barn for two years.

The batteries were SEVERELY cruddy looking.....so, "as is" notwithstanding, I had to put in 4 new batteries, and new terminal ends on every cable.

Not as bad as I thought, the top two batteries swing out 90 degrees to provide access to the bottom two.

When I made my earlier post, the job looked like it was gonna be a bigger deal than it actually was.

Still don't know if it runs, but it's getting 24 volts at the connector, so there is that......

That’s true. They like eating the glue used in them. When I worked as a bindery tech, the gaylords with the glue would always have them.
