From the looks of their DriverSEA, they could use an infusion of safe drivers pretty quickly.

I didn't think they were still in business. I used to see them ALL the time running I-40 to and from California. I couldn't tell you the last time I have seen one of their rigs.

I drove I-40 from the 108 mile marker in NM until Oklahoma City today. I was specifically looking for their trucks and didn't see a single one in either direction all day today. A few years ago, it seemed like every other truck on I-40 was an FMI truck. I know that this really isn't scientific and doesn't really mean anything, but I just found it interesting.

I've seen FMI trucks passing through Kingman in recent months. (on I-40). Don't they say "Serving the retail industry since 1979" on the trailers?

Last week I went from jersey to GA and back and didn't see one truck,I wanted to ask some drivers questions. Got back to jersey friday they wanted to give me a road test, and inspect my truck and I haven't even filled out an application yet. Seems like a big red flag to me. .90 a mile loaded and mty plus fsc loaded and mt. they pay all fuel tx out of their pocket, and practicle miles. SOUNDS real good. I just wish one of there drivers or somebody who worked there read these posts. thanks for all who has posted here.

They have a large blue and yellow circular emblem on their trailers and says FMI in large yellow and or blue letters. I'm not sure about that slogan, but that might be true. Most of their company trucks were blue Volvos and a few white Volvos as well.
