Yes, spare air hoses for the trailer, fuel container, chains, some salt, fuses, glad hands, bulbs, spare filter, kingpin lock and some more things. I try to be prepared for Wyoming especially.

Not on a Volvo. They have a heating element in the intake. Shoot ether in there and it’ll blow the intake to pieces. Luckily, @Animosus knew to unplug it.

Glad to hear. @Animosus you’re a hell of a good guy. The real deal for sure. Big games just starting, tossing the coin now. What a lucky break. Now you know. Shouldn’t happen again. Unless you’re like me. I actually did it twice. Lol.

I know a lot of drivers see a wrecker and just think we are in it for all the money and highway robbery or whatever else some of these other guys do. I can tell you that everyone that works for us does it because they actually like to help people. I volunteered with the Sheriff's Office Search & Rescue team when I was in college and it was one of the most rewarding things I've done. Just like what I do today I met people having some of the worst days of their lives, and even small gestures made their world a better place. It doesn't cost anything to be nice to others.

I used to work for a mobile mechanic service here and I had to find another job because I couldn't deal with their ethics. They were so dishonest to customers telling them we could do these jobs when there was no way it was possible with the tools and equipment they provided us with. I was also the only tech there that had any dealership experience and actual schooling... It felt so wrong every day robbing people I couldn't do it anymore.

So that's my story today. Be kind.

I wish more were like you. I truely truely do. And honestly my experince with wreckers (had to use 48 of them in my first year heh) has been mixed. Some were awsome some....less so.

You need to remove both fuel filers and fill them with fuel once you do that than hit the priming pump and it should start the truck just fine, but without filling up the filters its completely useless to prime pump

D.Tibbitt, Rideandrepair and Siinman Thank this.
