Joe Stack hit the nail on the head...No way should your husband be running someone else's truck out of his pocket, I suppose very very minor things like a scale might be the exception, if any; and even that can go too far. Your husband does need to make a stance: as long as the company can depend on him to fish up the money somehow they will continue to take advantage of him and save money on their end: the company has all the burden of getting the load from point A -Z When your husband learns how to sit and sit and sit aaaaaand sit until they (the company) figure out a way to get him the money without it being "Any" charge to him; they will. There may be many many ways of doing it, but that burden is not on the driver, and it darn sure isn't the drivers place to have to get a credit card to do their business, (that almost blows my mind to pieces) Now before he sit's and waste a lot of time, tell him to give the company a bold and very audacious ultimatum and fair warning ahead of time before he ever get's in the situation again. he has to make it painfully clear to the company that he is a "man" of his word and he will not budge until "they" figure out a way to get him the money NO CHARGE TO HIM: Now you know-----what I know, Jo Bernard

I kept reading down the list not even believing they were actually encouraging the gal to make the company dependent on her husband by agreeing with her to get a credit card or something!!!! I thought I was losing "my" mind!!! until I got to your post, thank you, maybe I'm gona be alright: and I added a little more for her to think about. take care

Some are "conditioned" to tolerate "the little things"
Ive seen my share over the years and prefer to address "things" before they become issues.
Ive driven O/O Trucks, waiting on TS Service to fix a burnt headlight,it only takes one time to open their eyes. They were promt with advance money from there on out

They can be if you are using it alot...my husband uses it to take out what he needs for the week in terms of tolls, scales sometimes groceries so only one time fee per week...if you use it like a debit card, then yes you will pay a fee on each transaction.
But thats a good idea, Rick!Baack Thanks this. -
