I will never talk ill of the owner because he took care of me. But holy crap did he work us. He probably could have hired 3 extra drivers and we still be running 90 hours a week.LilRedRidingHood and 406newbie Thank this. -
Lumber yards. But not a small mom and pop, the big names like Builders First Source, L&W Supply, ABC Supply, Beacon Roofing etc
LilRedRidingHood and road_runner Thank this. -
Grocery warehouses (grocery to store) will likely let you max your 70 if you’re up for it. Generally easy work, might even be drop and hook (mine isn’t, we load our trailers at the DC and unload at the store). I typically work 5 days, 9-11 hours a day, but I have the option to work a 6th day. -
My question is why would you want to work more hours? My goal is to work less hours, 45 to 50 per week is good enough me. I've realized that once I get more than 10 hours overtime, more than 1/2 of my wages go to the government.
onlyoneEagle-me, road_runner and Cardfan89 Thank this.
