Reoccurring regen t800 mx13

It is very common to see EGR disabled or EGR derate on MX equipped Pete and KW prior to 2017. The EGR derate will log active for over 100 different faults when they occur.

If I hit a nice hill or mountain or any hard pull the stop engine light will come on and derate until I let off the pedal then it goes away.

Yup mostly likely a bad EGR valve. Im betting it smokes a bit too. That is EXACTLY what mine would do when it broke.

What do you mean smokes? I have a small leak in the bellows pipe from the cans to the engine also
