ROFLMAO, not a chance in Hades. I'd rather have my butt shaved and walk on my hands than load there again.
No, those were reference to 3, actually 4, Nucor facilities in NC and SC. Of the two in Darlington, one is a beam/angle/flat steel plant, the other is a rolled (greasy bar)plant across from each other, and the one in Michigan is a tube steel manufacturer. They're kind of slow on the outbound loading, which is probably why my dispatch didn't let me do it more often as it would be quicker for me to head to a couple other plants in the area, and the tube manufacturer has held me up for a number of hours to get loaded since you get in line behind the others....but you could turn around from the same location to minimize deadhead.

Yes, I'm aware of the cabotage term, but wasn't sure it applied to getting a load back to get to the country, rather than just running freight back and forth down here, rather than trying to return to the country of origin. I apologize if my misinterpretation of that aspect caused confusion.

I was of the thought that he could get a load further up toward Michigan which would allow him to get one here back to the Great White North.

There is something that reads like that but me not being a Philadelphia lawyer, dont really understand it.
I'm old too...CAXPT Thanks this. -
Is a Bank considered a shipper ? It’s like ….. they do ship money and receive it…… right ?

CAXPT Thanks this. -
Family day will get me too I think . I’m sitting at delivery in the soo with a Alberta clipper forecasted for tonight and tomorrow. I was hoping they worked today but no luck instead of driving on dry road I’ll get to drive in 6 inches of snow with 40 mph sigh. Good luck on reload and I agree do you’re own thing if company trucks get priority.
Brettj3876, CAXPT and Elroythekid Thank this. -
