It will be my last time if this is the case. I already can't stand oh they advertise for fast turn around. It is a joke at best. That little amount of work had to wait a full week to get done.

Trailer/ truck dealers and OEM are get bold these days. Happens when there is high demand and little competition.

Not un-common to be charged on something that warranty may/may not pay and have to wait to get paid back.

It's the same at Utility in Omaha so they are not the only dealer doing this. I've had a trailer in there, and also the one in KC, numerous times for warranty work and never had any issue being reimbursed.
Don't stress too much over this.bzinger, Dave_in_AZ and Siinman Thank this. -
By the way, do you have the Tiremaxx inflation system on your trailer?
If you do and have had your indicator light come on but don't have any tires leaking I may be able to help you figure it out.
I have had to have all the axle oil caps replaced (under warranty) at one time or another. The problem is the rubber seal inside the cap that causes air to leak back out through the axle vent tube.
With the air system turned on, put your finger over the little black hose coming out of your axle vent. If you hear or feel air, its one of the caps on that axle. Sometimes you can determine which one it is by jacking one wheel end up at a time and turning the wheel and see if it quits leaking. If it does, you found the culprit.Dave_in_AZ, ducnut and Siinman Thank this. -
Generally warranty work doesn't pay the dealer very well. I can understand why the guy hates doing warranty work.
