Fortunately for me it's my big size that probably scares them away or looking around to get an idea of your surroundings helps and they probably see me swiveling my head to and fro.

If you act self assured and make it look like you know where you are going and what time you should get there (by checking your watch) they will get the idea, it's best to steer clear of you.

No one has actually robbed me and gotten away with it at a truck stop but in Washington, DC someone came up to me near the Metro Center subway station and wanted money.

    I want some money.

    Huh?

Yea, give me some money (it was an agressive panhandler).

    Uh, NO ...

    I want some money.

    NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO.

He raised his right arm above his head and acted like he was about to bring it down on my head.

    Oh, WRONG MOVE.

So I chased him up the escalator and out into the street. He ran off, so, good riddance.

No laws, but alot of companies have policies against it.

Where I am leased, if a weapon is found, the lease is terminated.

There is no such thing as a federal Conceal Carry lic. It is granted in the state that you live in and it is good for the states that have reciprocity with your state. I live in colorado, but my CC lic is not good is some other CC states.

Again, my life is worth more than any unconstitutional law ever devised.

I haave a 45 ACP w/230 gr hollowpoints. "Pretty much take someones breath away." I try to stay in lighted areas and always avoid people who dont look like a truckdriver approaching you. Had 1 incident in Savannah. A great big guy got on my running board about 3AM and said I need money to get my son to the hospital. I told him if he didnt move I'd kill him on the spot. He took off but I think he intended to rob me.

Empty a dry chemical fire extinguisher into the face of the crook. That'll put him down for the count. Completely legal in all 50 states too!
