I saw a job in San Diego craigslist available for a demolition company driving their trucks and operating their equipment...

also their have been a lot of dump trucks running around San Diego you might want to check with the some of those companies such as Western Trucking

Some local companies in So.Cal. Osterkamp, Pomona... CPS express, Mira Loma....Palmer, Ontario.... Ashley furniture, Colton.... Gardner, Chino...... plus tons of aggregate haulers. The above mentioned do regional and you be home fairly often. Palmer is not Jim Palmer, but a furniture operation that delivers furniture to retail stores. Sunset Pacific out of Chino runs back to Carolina(dry van). DOT Line out of Vernon runs east and KKW out of Pomona runs western states. National Freight out of Vineland, N.J. (NFI) has a yard in Corona for local stuff. Doudell runs between Ca./Az. Lots of harbor/rail stuff too. Speaky Spanish?

OK, OK, Allow Me to help you out here. There was a used "roach coach" for sale in a storage place on the north side of I-40 going westbound at the I-15 junction east of Barstow, Ca. for quite a few years. Haven't been through there in awhile so it may be gone. But, if you could buy it, you could just hire on a cook and prepare some greasy taco grub and sell sodas and probably get rich quick. Set up on Alameda south of the I-10 in L.A.

    Chris,

I noticed on your other post you are looking for a company driver too? I would be interested in that since I don't own a truck. Only problem is I can not go into Canada. I have 3 years experience driving for a two small companies in Chicago. Both was out to California with a reefer. Let me know if this could work out. Thanks
