There's 3 companies that will train you and your girlfriend at the same time in the same truck. The trucks are set up for 3 people. Down time is at a hotel/motel so the trainer and the married couple can have privacy away from each other. ~ Truck driving jobs | Class A CDL truck driving jobs
Same here as with the other two; husband/wife or girlfriend, train at the same time in the same truck. This company gets some bad press, but seems to be from drivers that don't work there or have never worked there. You'll hear the same BS about Schneider and Covenant. C.R. England - Become a Trucker!
It’s so bad in AZ right now it made the news! NM is bad but somewhat tolerable.. I-20 Shreveport is insane so I I always take the bypass even though it’s not a whole lot better. 95 in SC is another disaster..
thanks Chinatown. We have Schneider visiting the school this week and I have talked to their military veteran recruiter. They claim that they will put us on a dedicated Torro route from Minnesota to S. Carolina/Georgia as a team. Its the only team route in our area. 5 days on 2 off. The pay is lowest of all the options but the stability is appealing to my wife as we ease into the pool. Amhof is local to us, pays better but Im am very unclear on What our areas would be an I get the feeling it wouldn't be a dedicated route. I will talk to them again before we make a decision.
