How did you arrive at this conclusion without test equipment? What test equipment do you have? Are you just speculating?


It is pretty obvious....since it clearly says on the face that it is a 10 meter radio, unless you forgot how to read. This is what he's selling, converted to use on 11 meter band. Stryker SR-955HPC 10 Meter Radio with Amazing Clear Audio

 

You didn't answer the question. You insinuated he buys the radio and does a quick 5 minute conversion on it and sells it to you at a marked up price. Did you do a complete inventory of all the components that were changed? Did you happen to notice any of the alterations made to the radio? Did you happen to measure the frequency response and audio amplitude at various frequencies? " Amazing clear audio" isn't exactly what you would get right out of the box, although it would sound halfway decent to the untrained ear.

 

Really Rabbi, don't confuse the issue by asking too many questions. We all know what Mark does. We know he buys the radio, has it dropped shipped to Dave the super tech to get it fixed up, and then gets it back, puts his scent on it, then ships it out.

 

What do you have in test equipment?

I have a great harbor freight multimeter, I paid $2 for it.

 

Geez this has gone farther downhill than I ever envisioned a Hard Drive ##### fest ever going! And I'm not a HD fan.....

So my radio and antenna are junk. I have literally no ground plane, and can talk maybe 300’….

I have a new antenna, a handful of ground straps and another radio…but ive been hesitant to put it in as it’s been nice not hearing MudDucks!!!

 

I think there might be TWO people in this thread that are fans of his and the rest only want him gone. No one wants to hear him.

 

What antenna and radio combo are you running?
