    There are more ads today, for drivers in florida, than I have seen in a LONG time !!!!

    Trimac, USX, WSE, CRE, and other fine companies !!!!! Many hiring noobies, regional work, etc, etc.

    Even Knight is offering 7 on/7 off.......

    Trimac acquired Star Trans the bulk tanker company who operated out of Tampa, probably a good reason why you're seeing their adds down here.

    Yeah, many companies hire out of the state of Florida, but not from that far south. You pretty much have to live above the 4. Also most of the companies down here in South Florida are looking for O/O's to haul containers, etc. Plenty of work for that or box truck owners.

    I'll probably be moving up out of this area as soon as the real estate prices get back on track.
