What did they do to my Truck; Truck won't exceed set cruise speed down hill anymore

I myself am fatally attracted to the update disease; for everything that can.
Usually updates are all positives & improve end user experience.
I actually enjoy reading the change log hoping for efficiency & problem improvements.

Problem is you invariably end up beta testing new issues...

 

If they updated the ECM firmware, this setting was set when they got the file, not when the dealer put it into the ECM. It is a good idea to have them download the settings before they update the firmware and set the settings back to what they were.

 

Using the accelerator pedal should over ride this, problem solved. You made no mention of the throttle, this is what I do.

 

When I put on my engine brake switch. The lift door light comes on ? No engine brake at all ?
It’s a 2016 prostar! Do i need to have Jake turned on in truck ecm ? Any advise would be helpful ty
