What's wrong with the roads?
Siinman and TheLoadOut Thank this. -
Maybe you're right. Maybe they're supposed to look that way?Siinman and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

Side Roads, Highways, Interstates, which are supposedly Bad??
Is there some EXPECTATION in every State (or just AZ??) to provide Clean, Smooth Traveling Roads?
Is this another "woke" thing?

In the last few years, here in Arizona, I have seen less roadwork opted for more signs saying "Rough Road Ahead".
D.Tibbitt, TheLoadOut and Siinman Thank this. -
A lot of those remind me of the North East, and west through Illinois.
Maybe AZ ought to make some roads TOLL then improvements are once in a while, like I-76 in Pennsylvania, "random, scattered, upgrades".
I've driven on LOTS of abused Roads, Highways, Interstates, in MANY States (specifically I-40 Below) that "needed upgrades" and some "repairs" were seen, some not.
I-40 from West Memphis To Little Rock was one of the WORST Highways I had EVER seen including the Northeast and I drove it through Many years of "Road upgrades" and dang GLAD I was no O. O.
A Lot of 2 lanes through the weeds were smoother and one was from Santa Rosa, NM to El Paso, TX.
Roads like that one, at Night, are when you KNOW your Equipment is in Excellent Shape.

I think these 48 states have their own certain acceptable level of road erosion CAUSING accidents/collisions/fatalities/rollovers/wrecks/etc., before ANY attempts are initiated for IMPROVEMENTS.
It's theoretically plausible and not such an oddity.

NB95 in SC coming out of GA is terrible and Shreveport LA looks about like that.
I’m replacing a front rim tomorrow due to a crack.TheLoadOut Thanks this. -
Arizona sucks anyways…. We should sell it and Texas back to Mexico. Then when California floats out to sea , we’ll be all set……
