1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

    Hey Truckers,
I'm a resent CDL School grad & I'm looking for my first company as a driver. I'm looking at the 3 mentioned above...
Of course I will have to do OTR, but I want to stick to local eventually. Both Schneider and Werner said they have OTR Regional (midwest), which I prefer, but haven't had a chance to ask the Swift people.
I need help deciding which one to go with since I need to ASAP...
I appreciate any ideas, advice, help, complaints, etc...

Swift and Schneider have the best SafeStat scores. Both have ISS-D Recommendation: PASS. That's just another wannabe's $0.01 worth!

P.S. How much did they talk about CSA 2010 at your school? Just curious!

When you get a chance, go to www.csa2010.fmcsa.dot.gov. Read as much as you have time to read. On this forum there are several threads about CSA 2010. I think the more you know about it, the better. Particularly if you decide to go with Werner. Again, just my $0.01 worth!
