If it’s still on the wagon when you reach your destination then you did fine ;)

Hauled plenty of them. Probably have 30 Deere hooks in the garage.

We seem to secure things the same. :)
I did the same, hook the chain loop toward the center of the container of the side, run through the hole to the other, and then loop that end the same toward the center and use the binder in the middle front and back. Then 3 straps minimum over the top with protectors, especially on those PODS, they have sharp edged angle iron, but the large containers would get the same treatment.

386's are penalized heavily for whatever reason. Last week I watched a local auction with 386's going in the teens, while a blown up 388 got high 30's. 388 glider with no engine or trans lost my interest early and went >50k. The world is still crazy at least.

I have zero exit plan on mine, but if I did, I'd either part it out or convert to a 388.

I like wankers like this "driver" "complaining about Other People stopping in Front of him causing his Load to shift thru the minor securement, WEAK Headache Rack, then the Cab". He should have been relieved he wasn't decapitated or just crushed his head into the steering wheel, but no, he whines about traffic.
Trucker pleads 'stop pulling out in front of us big trucks' after lumber plows through cab
I dunno, I NEVER had ANY Skateboard Load slide forward......or at all.
I overly secured My Loads, because they were MINE. Local or Long Haul = NO DIFFERENCE.

When I ran Local Skateboard Loads, I over-secured them because they were usually dimensionally challenged, like with L-o-n-g Fences, Gates in racks, Wood and Metal parts in/not in boxes, and related fun stuff that took some time to unsecure and re-secure but I KNEW NOTHING WAS GOING OFF DECK, or forward IF I had to Brake Hard, which I didn't ever have such need.
    CHEERS!!

Make sure you tarp the aluminum planks that are going to sit outside uncovered for a month...
