It depends how this new freight lane idea works out. I will give them one month after my next hometime is over to prove that this big operational move will benefit me. Right now I’m pissed off to high heaven. I’m extremely spoiled here. At the end of my career I want to work smarter, not harder. This ain’t looking good. I have no problem walking away.

Id wager there a lot of drivers pissed off and on the verge of leaving. This is ridiculous though, Ive only been here 4.5 yrs and have seen a lot less of stuff I used to regularly get and wondering what happened here.

I'm trying to hold on lol,I keep telling myself it will get better.
Communication keeps failing, but in my 7 years here,I don't think that will ever change.

Haven't heard to much about the freight lane deal, but I did hear they want to go no further than Tx in the future, don't know if there's any truth to it.

I wonder if knight is putting their so-called finger print on this change… Because knight likes to run short to medium hauls and that’s it… Willing to bet Phoenix is behind it all .

That’s exactly what they’re doing. We are now an “east of 35” company. No more west coast freight. Whatever freight our customers have that go west, and we know who they are, will now be brokered out. My biggest question is this, they can’t load 250 trucks now east of 35, how will they load 400?

Absolutely correct. What use to be the #1 and #2 in the building have been replaced by #1and #2 from Phoenix. No more team freight. Our longest tenured team here of 11 years just quit yesterday. Last I heard we only had 8 teams. I think I have the last trainee on my truck right now.

I fully understand changes have to take place so that the round table group in Phoenix are able to get to reap the rewards. But on the same hand, I am in a position both financially and professionally to call my own shots. I will see how this evolves. If it’s to my liking, I’ll finish here, if not, I’m gone.

Here are the 2 lists showing our drivers that have been here for 2+ years and our million mile drivers. I’m not on the longevity list because my 10 year anniversary was in April, so this only shows up to February. Of course, the million mile drivers, including yours truly, have been here since before the buyout 5 years ago. E9A7B368-CC68-4DCE-8745-11553B5C4581.png 8F0250D7-9BA5-47D1-BCB7-F35B0CE765A9.png
