Hawk Logistics Smyrna Tennessee

This is a review that's over 2 yrs. old.
Not from the Smyrna terminal though.
Still, under the circumstances, I'd give it a try.
Hawk has terminals all over the place in various states including North Carolina.

The absolute worst trucking company ever! No professionalism, always issues with your pay. Never get the mileage that’s promised. An owner that can’t man up and act like a boss, and be professional about it. Expects u to go in areas u don’t feel comfortable or no bonus. Very rude and not the type of person who should be running a company. Everything they promise or say is a joke. Save your time don’t bother with this company. Most drivers I met were lucky to make it 2 weeks due too poor dispatching , never getting anyone on the phone especially in times when your broke down. No bonus if you can’t go where your dispatcher states, when they have no idea about driving a big truck and what we deal with on the road. If u have a question forget about it, the owner isn’t going to answer you.

 

That post sound alot like the "i wont do the loads they want me to take, so now they wont give me other loads, so i get no miles" whining crap you see in alot of reviews

 

That's right and all trucking companies have a few crybabies like that.

 

I meant the post China was referencing, i think he was suggesting going for it. I agree, only way to say if the pay isnt "fair" is if you find someone willing to pay you more. Unfortunately with SAP you are stuck with "rookie level" companies and pay. Just be ready to grind out those "non-gravy runs" that noone else wants.

 

I try to put myself in your situation and think I'd give it a try.
