I just went thru swifts physical and it is in depth, you have got to lift and carry different cases with weights in them. They check your heart rate while doing all of this. I am a personal trainner so I did not have a problem lifting the weights, I did fail the eye test and needed glasses. But the physical is tough if you are not in some decent shape. I suggest while you are at school get some walking in in your next 3 weeks during your off time.

I just got a job offer from swift today but I am worried about the physical part. I went to orientation for them 3 years back and didn't pass it because of the squatting down and coming back up with out leaning forward. I only lean forward alittle bit but I didn't pass. So I'm looking for any advice that someone might be able to give me so that I will pass this time. Thanks

exercise.
Sit up, push up, do the squatting exercise, lift weights.
Things people should do to be in shape anyway.
I'm bigger then average myself, but I've been working out for years, and can probably out perform the 'skinny kids' most days of the week. -
Yonder Thanks this.

So what do they do in the physical now?

I don't know, but it sure wouldn't hurt to have it. A lot of students get sent home on the first day to get doctor clearances for one reason or another.
jdsouza Thanks this. -
I took a Swift Physcial about a week ago, and they did perform the dreaded "hernia" test. I was a little surprised, and I imagine Bo one really cares to do it. But you gotta do what you gotta do. No physcial lifting test though.
