    :dontknow:

    Now-a-daze it's an advantage
to specialize, preferably in an emerging industry. :biggrin_25524:

    Welcome to the forums.

I'm positive you'll find many interesting folks here, --- and a few whacky folks as well. We have more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, and do so on a regular basis.
    Stick around, --- you'll see. :yes2557::biggrin_25525:

I am a new driver in the industry I drove for swift for 10 months and I was discharged because I had to used hard braking to avoid crushing other traffic. (people cut me off twice) and the reason I did just to save the truck for company and the loads for customer. now the problem is I can't get hired by other comapnies after they find out . do you have any ideas on how to get back into the industry? thanks

    Hmmmmmmmm

Your first priority was to not damage company equipment and/or customer property?
Where on your priority list is avoiding injuring or killing someone?
Well, ........ no doubt that will be one of your problems.
Having to climb on the binders hard enough to attract attention is a serious issue. Are you tellin' us that you "had" to do that twice to avoid "crushing other traffic"?
Doing that once ####s the hammer.
Twice launches a red flare as an indicator of a crash lookin' for a place to happen and suggests a less than professional attitude and approach to Big truck truckin'. In 10-months you've managed to do something many Big truck truck drivers haven't done in years and hundreds of thousands of miles.

What companies you apply with now are gonna wanna know is
did you learn anything from your experiences?
If I were you, I'd enroll in a defensive driving course for Big truck truck drivers and, upon receiving a diploma, include a copy of it with any applications you submit, --- as well as mentioning that you've recently graduated from a defensive driving course somewhere on the application itself.
That would show initiative to improve your driving skills.

Will that be enough to land another driving gig?
    I don't know.
But I do know it wouldn't hurt or be a waste of time.

Sounds like you were driving too close to traffic ahead of you.
but I am sure that you can get a job with a couple of companies down here in charlotte nc and rock hill nc.
