    #### straight.

That's my semen on her dress too.

Gonna do it; might as well be ready to own it.

    Exactly!

Done some reading on the synthetic urine and it seems like they’ve caught on to it so I wouldn’t recommend anyone try using it.

It's not ironic because you're comparing apples to oranges for two reasons.

    1. THC is fat soluble. It is stored in fat cells and can be released into the body at a later date - including 3 weeks after a vacation. This can't happen with alcohol because alcohol isn't fat soluble.

    2. The amount of alcohol present in somebody's system is quantified at the time the Breathalyzer test is administered. As of now there is no way to do that with THC that has been scientifically and legally validated.

Problem with such "legality" is it's certain states only, prescription or not. I have some experiences with weed, for example. When I was off for a year after a stroke in 2015, I spent it in Colorado. I enjoyed it, sure...but...even if done once in a while, the residual effects went on for at least another day (sometimes two). Things like mild fatigue, clouded thinking, lazy reactions, and general scatter brain. None of which is good even after loads of coffee for a Sunday or Monday roll out.

As for the states where it is not legal, any incident will result in serious issues with DOT, FMCSA, as well as court. ANY safety-sensitive job is not good for users of such substances. Period. Additionally, it is NOT legal at federal level. The Feds can crack down suddenly any time they wish on states allowing this. Think of it as a grand social experiment.

Even if the Feds make it legal, it will NOT be for our gig or any other safety-sensitive gig. I'm a big supporter of keeping it away from us while doing these gigs. That being said, I look forward to retiremement in 15 years so that I can safely stay high the rest of my days. Until then, he!l no...ain't doin' it.

Most people who drink and drive don't kill anyone and plenty don't have car crashes until they do. Pointing out a specific example of breaking the law and nothing bad happening isn't enough to suggest that law is unreasonable. If the law were to change it won't just change for that most responsible slice of all users of weed, but for all weed users.

Then consider the drug screen for marijuana an IQ test. Users knew before they entered trucking and before they got hired in trucking they would be tested for several drugs and they still walked into a drug screen with THC in their system. Consequences don't just happen to you if you agree with them.

Who said "it's perfectly fine to get blackout drunk every night wake up and go drive around in the morning"? So you'd rather get notified a few days after your urine test to come back and do the 10 second blood alcohol breath test than at the same time and place as the urine sample?

I remember when cocaine was called harmless before widespread use lead to widespread problems and then crack devastated lots of places and then meth and opioids replaced them all in the news.

To add to your point that the pilot's feeling about his ability isn't a good predictor of their behavior after the use of the drug it's routinely found that MOST drivers think they are above average in ability. Yet ask truck drivers if bad behavior among car drivers is rare or common. There is a reason why most tests don't allow the student to grade his own paper.

Bottom line for me is the 2 hour buzz ain't worth a career..
Especially if it's one you've worked hard to gain a secure foothold into a top paying safety sensitive position.
I haven't been tested randomly in over 4 years due to the thousands of employees here.
    But now probably tomorrow..lol
I was hired 13 yrs ago due to an opening when somebody got popped on a random and canned. They don't do no SAP
