Got 6~ months of OTR exp, considering getting into a better company

    Hello everyone, I'm nearing 6 months of experience with my starter company (Trans Am).
    I am currently doing OTR, don't care or need to go home, bring about 1k a week right now,
    I am looking to bump up my weekly pay a little and maybe find a better carrier. Any advice?
    Thanks for your response!

    PS: no moving violations, NY Long Island,
    never went to trucking school (besides mom and pop place that taught me how to pass cdl exam)

    If you stay a while you will get raises, which will bump up your pay a bit just like you want.

    And this is not the best time of the year to be job hopping. Rather slow out here right now.
