My trucking journey

So guys, I ordered my safety vest today off Amazon. I’m gonna go to Home Depot tomorrow and get myself a good pair of gloves.

 

they went very quickly at an parts chain where I work at. I wear a specific size and that is size double XL.

 

So report back to school on Saturday from today. I’m really excited to not only prove to myself, but prove to my late father that I still have it in me. Granted I’ve been driving on our vacations a lot but I cannot wait to drive 18 wheelers.

wherever I go, I just want to drive an autism awareness themed, 18 wheeler and cancer themed truck.

Hi guys,

so I’ve decided to go with Swift. I have my reasons and I’m really excited about the opportunity that I’m presented. It looks like that once I graduate truck driving school next Thursday, I will come home and work Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

My next thing that I’m gonna be doing is, I’m gonna take the terminal tour of the Ocalla terminal. After that, I go get my physical and urine analysis done. For those wondering, I am indeed doing regional after I am done training with a mentor.

my sister wants me to go through a good training program and support me 110% going through Swift. I would rather not be a guinea pig but rather go through an established training program. Also, Swift has a lot of mentors just in case I don’t click with one.

If anybody has any questions regarding on how I got my CDL pack or the process was Swift that I’ve been through thus far, please post below, and I will give you my recruiters name if it is an already posted on here.
