Hey, I resemble that description. Lol. I need a headset. Don’t need a ticket. Old friend of mine got one first day the Law was passed!! You can tell a real modern Trucker. Has the headset on all day everywhere he goes. I often leave my “Tether” in the Truck while eating a meal, or taking a break away. Wonder if the phone worshiping will ever stop. It’s definitely a handy all in one tool.

I fall into your demographic category
I'am in my 50's and run a 40 year PB there's no JB weld on my ride .. I very rarely have my ph in my hand while driving..
I'am also not a memember of Peterbilt Mafia..
    I guess I'am a outcast ..

I dedicate this thread to all of those who think we're going to come together, sing Kumbaya and change the industry.

    Best of luck.

With a driver like that I look up on Google maps the next weigh station they are gonna hit , and call and tell the folks at the scale , give them a description of the truck , etc

and I also send the video to their company if I can figure out who it is .

The scariest thing I ever saw was a 4 wheeler pass me and was texting with BOTH hands holding the phone and his eyes looking down at the screen. I'm like HOLY CRAPPP unless he's steering with his third leg he's literally not driving that vehicle at all.

    Yup, driving is optional anymore.

I called one in last year on 40 -- car weaving badly in my mirror coming up on my left. I looked down and it was obvious then, she was fully involved with her phone, driving with knees, using the center line reflectors and shoulder wakeup rib as to which way to steer.

    What the hell!!

On another note. An observation i have noticed is there must be a cable from the phone to the gas pedal. When the phone comes up to the ear the gas pedal comes up dropping speed to 55 mph.
