Not really, those greasy South American ports probably. I've been to China dozens of times and never had a problem with health problems with the food. Going back again next month; June.

Yes, the sonic defenses do work quite well.
I worked on American cruise ships that mostly stayed in American waters - that being said, most cruise ships try to avoid the main pirate infested waters off the coast of Somalia and also around the waters of Indonesia. On-board a cargo ship going through the Red Sea out of the Suez Canal we were in a convoy just like WW-2 with NATO naval ships escorting us - we had an embarked security team of shooters on-board armed & ready as well. But the sight of a destroyer almost alongside of us was the most comforting thing to know. Cargo ships & work boats are still being hijacked around African waters & SE Asia today.
As for all the posts about viruses on-board as they say #### happens! All the rules in the world mean nothing if workers don't wash their hands, sanitize properly and follow the correct procedures as well. Also, I liked your comments about CHINA - been there myself & mostly a positive experience for my time in the People's Republic of China.Chinatown Thanks this. -
You've had an interesting life that most don't get to experience. An enviable life to many.Prof.Gringo Thanks this.
