Just a little more modern, but I like your angle.

I usually listen to a abible podcast. But think they ran out of business or contract something but I don’t anymore. I just read the Bible now on Sundays.

Gene Scott had the habit of going from a really good teacher to a total dirtbag, from one minute (or hour) to the next.

In some ways he was the Trump of the Christian community.
He said it as he believed it, and didn't care what you thought about him.
Unorthodox, brazen and in your face.

(Disclaimer... I don't think Trump is a good teacher of anything.)

I first saw him way back in the day in Los Angeles. He was interesting because he had an actual PhD from Stanford University but when I watch him now I realize that he must have been bipolar...or something.

He would sit there and light a big cigar and just stare into the camera for an eternity.

    Moosetek13 Thanks this.
