Jesus christ calm down. I will go to a 2nd doctor since the 1st exam was never done. I am doing it the easy way. I have no clue what job I want to get, never said I decided on long haul trucking, but I want to at least try to get the license so I have the option, even if it's just a class B or C. Chill dude, I posted what maybe 5 times today? You don't need to attack my generation with BS stereotypes. The thing I didn't get (which you didn't acknowledge in your mountain of text) was why the requirements are so stringent just for the permit. Normally you don't need a permit to train at a driving school, only if you want to practice outside of class. But you need the physical just for the PERMIT. I'll only volunteer info if they ask. The first try at an exam was aborted, so no need to mention something that isn't in the system yet. I'm still on try 0. The rest of your post just sounds like burnout. You're the one replying 4 times mostly ranting. The whole purpose of a forum is to express opinions. As far as customer service frustrations, those are easy to get used to. As a New Yorker myself, I am numb to it. I still live at home and have a decent savings so there isn't pressure. I can get a part time job in the afternoon if I want driving for the local dairy milk trucking business if I want. The license is just like my college degree (which was free) to have the opportunity.

I'm going to make this point and go play with my grandbaby! Yes, my daughter is visiting me!

What I want to do is sum this whole thread into a few words. First, when you do not finish a physical for whatever reason try to remember to ask the examiner if they will be making a report into the examiner database. This information is critical. If they tell you they are not, then consider that a non-physical and don't worry about it. If they do however say that they are going to report it, make sure to remember to let a possible 2nd examiner know the physical happened and why it was not finished. As @tscottme has correctly stated the FMCSA is not very customer orientated and they only allow a 2nd opinion. There are no mechanisms in place to appeal a medical examiner's decision. The only choice is to find an Attorney and file a lawsuit against that Examiner, good luck doing that! As far as the original question, look I can take my firearm and shoot the next person I see walking by. It does not mean there won't be accountability later on. If telling a lie on your physical is something you feel is important there is not a single thing I know of that will stop you. Just be advised though you might be held accountable later if something occurs that brings that physical into question.

Peace and Beth said goo goo!
