Interesting. I called my local Freightliner dealership and they gave me 1999 fld120. Yet it's listed as 2000 fld132. Do you think she may have entered the VIN wrong and I should try calling another freightliner dealer? I'm gonna try running VIN online in meantime to see what I get. I suppose if I'm serious about this truck I should get the rigdig too before shelling out for the mechanic to look it over
Edit:
Right in a picture from the listing it shows the specs and it says "base model: fld120".
It also confirms the original color is white

Throwing this in the mix. Supposedly has 100k miles on rebuild. What you all think of going with a Volvo with same 12.7L detroit? -
Gotcha my misunderstanding

but the XL was 132 only no?Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Yeah. Not all 132’s were tagged as XL. My 99 was a FLD13264T, same as an XL, but no XL name plate under the door, just a Freightliner Logo. More of a gimmick. A name plate. Later came the XL Limited. That’s what I have now. It’s also a FLD13264T.ducnut, LoneRanger and jamespmack Thank this.

The truck you posted is a 132. You can make 120 a aero, square hood, SD. But you will never make it a 132. You would have to extend frame to the front, which nobody would ever do, and move cab back. No one in there right mind would do this.ducnut and Rideandrepair Thank this. -

I thought the XL was condo size, but hey I might be mistaken. I know the classic was a name used for hooded trucks, but xl from my understanding was size of the condo and later replaced by the Coronado as the SD line.Rideandrepair and jamespmack Thank this.

I'm confused. Your saying it is a 132? But the vin and sticker say fld120. I'm missing somethingRideandrepair and jamespmack Thank this.
