The brokers have some nerve to actually post a TEAM Reefer load for $1.15 a mile.

No reason to ever enter Ohio or California for reefer. If you do that is on you. Why purposefully work in overcapacity zones. Makes zero sense. If it’s not a great opportunity, do not do it. If you don’t like bottom feeder broker rates, get your own customer. Why else would you even have an authority?? Want to click and ship? If all your good for is a broker to hire you, only because you are available, you are doomed. Zero work ethic. Even if you use the spot market, be known to do the most difficult tasks better than anyone. Stand out. Once you’re known for quality, you’re also known for invoicing for it.

Standing out and providing quality service is great during normal times.
These are currently dark times wheres there limited work and there's an abundance of trucks.
When soo many people willing to do loads for next to nothing you simply lose your leverage.

So, everyone complains about rates… I offer help, no one calls. Hmm…

    someone let me know why…

I have now over half a dozen folks chime in and I get told, “that’s work.” Well duh!

D.Tibbitt, Siinman and Rideandrepair Thank this.
