I’ll stop by once in a blue moon(not the beer)to pick up a 12pk on the way home. No shame. It’s my truck.

Is there such a thing as a truck stop anymore? The 'travel centers' now days cater as much to the 4 wheeler crowd as to the truck driver, if not moreso.

OK, STOP trying to split hairs here.

There isn't an excuse for a workaround.

YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE ALCOHOL IN ANY CONSUMABLE FORM ON THE TRUCK - PERIOD.

To clarify this a little more is this fact, on the truck, in the truck, or what ever you want to count it as - the fact you are in control of the vehicle qualifies you to be covered under the regs and laws.

It doesn't matter what your intentions are, it doesn't matter what you think the rules are or how they apply, ALL STATES FOLLOW THE FMCSA/US DOT REGULATIONS AND SOME GO BEYOND THE REGS TO MAKE THEM EVER MORE STRICT.

It's probably best just to have it shipped to your home. Besides, riding in the toolbox will get it all shook up and really hot.

    NO.
Your company almost certainly prohibits it in addition to the federal regs.
Someone will probably tell you a story and it may make sense. Only the regulations and company policy should be the answer.

Don't keep reading until someone gives you the answer you want to hear. Read the regs.
