It has been my experience beforehand...that you REALLY won't know for sure what you have....until you've been there for AT LEAST A YEAR (this of course assumes that it's not an obvious up-front disaster--like the one you just left ).

Come back in a year (or a bit more) from now--and post a review (& give the good, the bad....and the ugly) of your experience there.

That's true, good advice. I try to game the system by borrowing other people's experience and knowledge when I want to know the answer to important questions. You can do 5 years of research about a trucking company or ask people that have 5 years experience at that company to describe their situation. It's like a time-machine, of sorts.
