    Lentils are on my menu. Never thought to add liver to chili thanks. Not a fan of liver but been eating it for the iron

    The wife said when she was young/pregnant and running low on Iron, Chili was about the only way she could tolerate liver, made the texture less noticeable.

    The low iron issue cycled through again while she was going through menopause.

    Funny you mention that. I had an almost full bottle of that stuff. Used some recently. Went to get it when I got home.....dried up hard as a rock:mad:
    Used some super glue instead.
