TMC Phones down?

Maybe it's creditors???

 

TMC / Western Express gets hammered with calls from 10am eastern to about 230pm, and again around 3pm to 5pm. Your best bet if trying to reach a recruiter is to call them early morning. For the DM's if you cant leave a message they wont call you back (if it isnt important for you to leave a message, it isnt worth youar call).

If calling a recruiter, make sure you ask all the questions in one call. There is no point in them calling you back if your less than 90% desirable. Items like law infractions, poor past driving history, multiple companies driven for in short amount of time, unable to be coherent during phone call, combative, all sends up warning flags to not bother to consider you for a call back.

If your calling a DM. The DM really doesnt want to hear what ever beef you have. The DM really only needs to hear from you if you get to your destination and the reciever tells you they wont unload your freight for 20 hours because they didnt bother to infor the company of some reason like the manager doesnt want to dirty his shirt operating a forklift to get you out of there.

 

Why would Creditors be calling the recruiting line?

By the way, back at TMC now running boats - I picked up my new cab card today, I guess that means the rumors of closing were untrue.
Also talked to a couple of the VP's in Operations and they were in calling guys for a 50 truck Steel Dedicated for Middletown OH and 15 Truck Dedicated around Columbus OH. Sounds like some good things are coming on.
