If he had some tortilla chips, that clean up would have been a lot faster.

Youed be suprised its really not that bad. Had more then a few "im broke as #### and there is literally and i do mean LITERALLY no other food so this is dinner" nights with it in my teens....you get creative when you have nothing. That said id rather mix it into some guac or even better fresh salsa.

 

I am with Arctic Fox. I've had those nights too, especially in college. The Tabasco and Tortilla chips ain't a far cry from what you'd get in a Mexican restaurant. I find that combo to be delicious lol

 

Tortilla chips goes good with anything

 

I have a recipe for a burger that uses corn chips. Basically make a normal hamburger but add taco seasoning to it. And use chedder and pepperjack slices. Also grill some jalapenos onions and green tomatos. Also grill up a pair of corn tortillas. Put down your bun and use quaso guac and tobasco as condiments top and bottom. Place the tortilla rounds on each bun. Put the rest of the stuff as usual with a burger top with shredded fancy lettice and you have a taco burger.

Serve with either corona beer, a nice rum horchata mix or if you dont want booze just cold horchata. Makes for a good lunch or dinner.
