My WWJD falls miserably short when it comes to panhandlers...

 

They ALWAYS get it wrong.....and STILL it bothers me.

Just like the "90,000 gallon gasoline tankers".....

 

There is a Target store on the east side of Ft Worth on 30 and had a guy begging for hand outs and tells me his car broke down and just needed $14.00 bus fare to get to Dallas to get his wallet. Gave him my standard answer “No but thanks for asking” then keep on walking. About a month later was there again and had a different beggar asked me and put up the same exact sad story. My wife said that she was asked and the guy said the same story to her. All different guys using the same story. Like they are part of a beggar franchise or something.

 

Missus Skillet asked me that once...I told her all her friends are married, so it's kind of a non-question.

Thankfully, it has never come up again.

She tossed me a live grenade yesterday when she told me one of her longtime friends got a breast reduction, then said, "I don't know why she did that, she has a nice, proportional chest, don't you think?"
