Post #3 is how you fight the wrong charges. I am confused by this part of the OPs comment!
I understand the ELD part, but what is this "my computer"? Until I know more about this 2nd computer I can be of no further assistance other than to recommend the advice in post #3.

My guess is op is taking that a little too lightly. Why? Well if the officer is showing him in Minnesota when he was in Canada there is only two ways I can see that happening. The officer put in the license wrong and it popped up a truck going through a scale house then. The other option is someone is using his pates falsely and there was a truck with his plates there at the time the officer says there was, and that's a huge issue.
"my computer" is the officers computer. He's quoting the officer (poorly) at that point.Siinman Thanks this. -
Or they started the day in Canada on Canadian rules and crossed into the States without taking a 10 and they were over their 11 and 14. The OP hasn’t been back to say if they were in Canada all day on those days or if they crossed the border.

Man, back in the day I played fast and loose with US/Canadian HOS rules; left the NYDOT and the Ontario MOT officers baffled. Neither could write a violation if they couldn't be sure I was their country when my hours ran out, and often I crossed the border just to get a few hours more done. The US had the rule of driving 10 hours in an 18 hour period, Canada allowed 13 hours in a 24 hour period.

Siinman Thanks this. -
Why was he looking at logs from more than 7 days prior??? Or am I misunderstanding something here?kylefitzy Thanks this.

I’m not understanding either. In Canada for 7 days prior but then you’re in Oregon getting inspected? If it’s on the inspection report then you can DataQ it and show your proof that you were in Canada and only Canada on those dates.
