Mid 60's here this morning no chance of tain will be climbing the ladder to 106.

Still have some time before I hit the road. Gave the guy I have covering for me some time to find something else to pull. Now do we go hang on the boat for a couple weeks? Nope my best friend and wonderful wife Lorrie says good you have time to finish the BBQ gazebo and get the slab poured for the shed. Of course I replied very loudly, nothing

 

Not true, I haven't done that in years.

 

Sink four corner posts, lag bolt some discarded Swift trailer doors between them, a couple on top, then "wa-la! It's Miller Time!"

 

Sounds like the tain of several dozen mofos outside......

I tried getting up early to go to a local pie shop I've been meaning to check out, but I never heard the alarm clock.

Their hours are 7am to 2pm, but from what I heard, if you're not there by 10am, your choices are severely limited.

No point in talking about it, because the tain has increased to that of slightly more than a couple hundred mofos. I'm not going.

On the other hand, the tain should prevent all but the most dedicated pie fans from going out to shop.

Better have another cuppa joe and think this over....

 

Our "furry grandson" is visiting with us this weekend.

He is insisting that I play a game of "pipe cleaner fetch" with him.

He's okay with the thunder outside, but the sound of the tain on the roof seems to be unnerving him a little....
